Hello All,
I have a problem with my trim gauge and it is registering fully UP it does not move at all and is stuck at the UP position. How can I work back to figure out whats going on here? Boat is a 2007 MAXUM 1800 SR3 4.3L
Most likely the wires of the sender are broken off. On the sides of the gimbal ring are two round senders, one is the trim limit switch and the other is the position sender. Under Documents of this site you can find the Mercruiser manuals.
