Default no Start merc7.4l MPI GENVI

Hello All Hoping to get some ideas here.
I have a 2001 2300SC 7.4L MPI. I have a no start situation.
I have Done all the Checks required by Manual. have great fuel pressure. good spark and compression is good. turns over strong. have checked ECM and codes.
throwing no codes. I checked the kill switch as well the fuel pump will not run with the kill switch off. But, the engine will still crank. is this normal?
Im at a loss here. any suggestion?

This could be bad distributor cap and rotor, this is a common issue for corrosion inside. When did it last run and was anything done to it since then?

In addition to Mike's comments and question, I'd add recommendation to do a complete tune up: distributor cap, rotor, coil, wires, and plugs. This will eliminate the most likely causes of your no-start.
There will be an ignition trouble shooting tree in your service manual. Let us know if you need assist with this.
To your question about the kill switch; what you are seeing is normal. The kill switch grounds the spark at your shift interrupt, but starter can still turn.

All great advice guys. I did do all that you have mentioned. There was still no fire. I narrowed it down to the injectors pulled them and had em cleaned out. That did do the trick. Fired right up.
