Cool New engine

We found out over the winter that our 1998 2800 scr's 7.4 354 ci engine was shot. Water in the oil pan blown head gasket and rusted risers. I thought this was the end of our boating season for this year. Everyone I talked to about it said there is no way that the insurance company will cover that. After several days of phone calls, emails and sending pictures. A few more calls and viola!!! A big check form the insurance comp. the head mechanic at the marina called to ask how I had gotten them to cover the engine. I told him it a lot of praying a little luck and me being over cautious about everything I had taken lots of pics before winter layup and after a call from the Marina saying my cover had caved in from three feet of snow. The marina called me yesterday to tell me the boat is ready to be splashed as soon as we get back from Fla. on Memeroal day. *The head mechanic called me back to ask what company I had as he wants to switch because he had such a pleasant experience as Did I. It's the first time I can say that about an insurance comp.
