Default Looking for prop size confimation please

Hi

We've bought a used: 2004 Maxum 24SC with 5ltr. Mercruiser V8 220HP with an Alpha 1 second generation leg.

It currently has a badly dinked 4 blade prop which needs replacing.

We suspect it's not the correct prop and have been told they were originally fitted with a 3 blade.

Anybody out there that can confirm the prop specification and better still part number for this vessel/engine?

Many thanks in advance.

Mike

I recommend you try Quicksilvers prop calculator which is online and easy to use.

Dont go back to a 3 prop, the 4 prop is a much newer and better design.
You could not pay me to go back to a 3. 2002-2500scr.

I highly recommend https://propgods.com. I reached out to Ken Reeves directly via email (KR@propgods.com) after reading on another forum. I gave him my current running stats and what I was trying to improve. They do many local demo’s in their area so they have a huge amount of real world experience with many boats and I was really happy with their suggestions.
