Default Connect Lanyard to shutoff switch

I have a 1999 Maxum 2300 SR. It has a toggle switch for emergency shutoff of the engine, but I don’t know where to get a lanyard that will connect to the bat of the switch. There is no hole in the bat to clip on to. A lanyard is now required here in Florida.

The switch and lanyard are standard, try West Marine.

Default Kill switch

I have a 1999 maxum 1800 sr with a tin toggle switch by the throttle. Does that take a lanyard? Or do I need to install an engine cutoff switch? It is required in iowa now.

That is the safety cutoff switch that the lanyard attaches to.

Ok, I wasn’t sure if it was just a switch you can flip or if a tan yard would fit in it.
