Default Click on both engines

2004 2900 se with twin mec 4.3. One day went out and port engine would only click when try and start. Other engine would start fibe. Jumped slave solonoid still just click. Charged battery, still just click. Thinking bad starter. Week later went out and other engine just clicks. Can't find slave solonoid on this one so can't bypass it. Charge battery, still just click. Bought new batteriez, both still just click. I guess it's possible both starters went within a week of each other, but that is just weird. Any way to bring power direct to starter to test them? Any idea where they moved slave solonoid on newer engine? Any other thoughts?

First measure the voltage at the starter solenoid, large red cable when cranking to see if it stays at 12V or drops. If it is dropping you probable have a loose or dirty battery connection, this includes the negative cable connection to the engine block. Another issue could be a bad battery switch.

Take the voltage reading, check the cables and report your findings.
