Default Brand New 6.2Merc's ...... got a question

Just got a brand new 2003 Maxum 3300 with 6.2 Mercrusiers. But my throttle handles are very different. One of them is very stiff and other is loose. And sometimes when kicked into gear it tends to sometimes sounds like it is missing gear, or like kicking back. Just wondering if anyone else had the problem

sounds like you need the shift cable adjusted, how many hours are on the boat? did you buy from a dealer?

Default Maxum 2300sc

Yes bought the boat from a dealer, there were no hours on the boat. There are about 3 hours on them now from taking a trip to drop the boat off, thats about it.
