Default Beep sound with ignition

Hey guys I'm a new to the Maxum 2400scr '20 I had a new engine put in and are ready to enjoy the boat. So that's where the smiles stopped. so when I turn the ignition on there is a loud beep. So before starting it I thought I ask what that is about. Can anyone help me. OK the wife said there is no help for me but maybe for the problem

Yes that the alarm self test. There are 3 senders that can trigger a real fault; water temp, low oil pressure and low gear lube. When starting the engine there is no oil pressure until it starts so the alarm will sound for a short period of time. Carb engine , correct?

yes Carb 350. Will start the engine tomorrow . Today trying to figure out why the trim tabs not responding. I hope they dont have a water sensor

What brand are your trim tabs? Boat leveler or Bennett? Any noise when trying to activate them?

That’s the same tabs I have but have not had any issues with them so far. There should be a fuse in the harness somewhere. I have a manual for them just need to find it.

Ok found the booklet, not much info but if you remove the rocker switch plate there is an inline fuse on the harness.
