Default Anodes

when should you change anodes?
I have read every year to 1/2 gone

Also aluminum or Zinc?

I have a Alpha One G2

Being that you are in Florida I’m assuming salt water so zinc anodes. Change them when they loose 50% of their mass. The time is based on the galvanic condition of the water, if the boat is kept in the water,... most folks can get a season out of them which in your case is a year.
