Default 2700 SCR Propp?

Hi from Stockholm Sweden!

I am a new owner of a 2700scr with a 454 mpi 310 engine and bravo 3, 22p.
my maximum speed is about 36mph and the max rpm 4150-4200.
Should I change propps to 20p to increase the max rpm, it should be 4600?
Now it will run best at 30mph and 3700 to 32 at 3800.
Under 3600 the enginesound is higher and I guess it consumes alot of gas!

Daniel.....You need to know what your wot is for your engine. Load up the boat with friends and gas and go out slam that throttle down. I think you should be in the upper 4800 for rpm's and lower 40's for mph.

For every inch of pitch you go up the rpm goes down by 200.

Good luck

Daniel welcome aboard.

+1 what the others have said but it sounds like you need to drop a pitch as you suggested.
