The link is to Custom Spa Cover, in french and a dead page. To be honest, this post is hard to follow. I'm not clear what you're asking.

strange was just working the other night but thanks Shrew. I was trying to determine which radio/ stereo I had, that was the question. I have no clue since when I bought the boat no faceplate. I realized I was also assuming that the original owner never changed it. Best if I pull it out and check connector before buying new radio.

Happy Easter

Not sure there is a set model per year anyhow. Maxum would have bought quantities from JBL and when stock got low buy more but JBL may have changed the model so there could be mid year changes.

Ok got the radio out was a JBL mr5 with prospect electronics tags on it for the record.

How many speakers do you At guys have? I found the 2. Driver and passenger. I thought there were 4. Wiring there for 2 t Hf at goes to front but can't find them.
No sound for other 2 tested speakers with house radio.

Should there be 4 ?

I cannot say how many speakers you boat has but my 2400 SCR has 4. 2 in the cabin and 2 in the cockpit.

You should consider yourself lucky if you are able to match connectors. These type of replacements almost always involve splicing wires.

Agreed. obviously, your best bet in matching harnesses is to replace with a new JBL stereo, however there are no guarantees they will match. There is a possibility that they sell conversion plug, but not as common as you would think (or as easy to find).

Typically, it is just easier to use crimp connectors and a good crimping tool and connect one at a time. Having both manuals is helpful, otherwise it's a guessing game on the other end. I cut and crimp one wire at a time.

Hey all,
The thanks for the replies. I looked at manual for that year and shows wiring for speakers in the stern, when I thought they were in the bow. I did quickly check and didn't see speakers but the wiring is there shouldn't be to hard to add 2 more.

About the wiring for harness I talked with a tech at crutchfield just to check and no harness. So will be splicing together already cut off harness from old radio. I used it to check the 2 speakers wired to a house receiver and they work fine pretty loud actually. New radio arrived yesterday so will try and have harnesses spliced together by weekend and yes have both manuals and do them one by one. Did it 10 yrs ago in my jeep wrangler still have it and running fine.
