Default Fridge power

While docked during the week, is it better to leave the fridge on using 110V/AC or 12V/DC with the battery charger on? Just wondering if one increased the lifespan of the fridge electronics over the other.

nope ...wouldn't or shouldn't make a difference....I'd leave it on 120vac.....since you have shore pwr...I've done that for the past 10 yrs and never noticed any kind of change..

I like to leave it on when I'm on shore power so I don't have to keep emptying it every sunday and waiting for it to cool down every Friday. It's nice to keep non/semi perishables (ketchup, mustard, pickles, mayo, jelly, etc.) in there and not have to keep hauling it back and forth. Plus I make sure I leave a few cold beers and sodas on Sunday when I leave in anticipation of my thirst levels the following Friday. This way I can load the boat, crack a coldie, then start putting stuff away.

That's what I'm looking forward to this season but change the order of priority; beer (responsibly of course), soda, salsa, ketchup, mustard. Last season's marina wouldn't allow shore power to remain hooked up.
