Default Dash lights

I would like to gain access to dash to change dashboard lights and hook up rocker switches
How is that done??

Most are just a panel with panhead screws around the perimeter. If that is the case with yours, then you need to remove all of the mounting screws and hen remove the entire panel. On my 1997 2800, that included the gauges, switches, etc.
