Default Airmar B164-20 Transducer

I recently picked up an Airmar B164-20 transducer. My model is a mix and match style unit, where cables are available to run it using Raymarine, Furuno, Garmin, etc. brands of MFDs / depth finders / combination units. My question is what else to I need to make use of this beautiful looking thing on a budget? Is anyone else running one of these? It is mounted through a 3.75" hole in the hull.

I have an old circa 2005 standard horizon gps/chart plotter that has a small color screen and a uniden depth finder with a 7 segment LCD readout. Know those are no good to work with this. Was looking at used raymarine and furuno displays but even used these are spendy and I'm not sure they're what I would need. I'm good with smaller lake boats, had a few over the past 17 years in the 20-24 foot range, but the electronics packages folks are running in these bigger cruisers and such are bewildering to me!
