Default adding a second battery to 2100 sr

Has anybody added a second battery to a 99 2100 SR with a 5.7. Not sure on the amperage, I'm asuming 120. Bluesea has a kit I'm wanting to try and am sure it comes with instructions. Any suggestions on where best location is for second battery since trim pump is on opposite side. Thanks

You will at least 550 CCA on that battery.

It should be straightforward. I assume you have a battery shutoff now. If it is an ON/OFF, replace it with a 2 pole [1-2-BOTH-OFF] isolater. The battery negatives get connected together. The positive of the primary would go to post #1, the positive of the new battery goes to Post #2.

Ok thanks. Wanting to be able to run the radio and obit worry about no cranking power. I've looked at the bluesea kit and it appears straightforward enough.
