Default 3300 SCR anchor light will not turn off.

Good day to you all,

I have a 2002 3300 SCR and the anchor light will not shut off. I have disconnected the feeds to both the nav lights and the anchor light switches and the light still stays on. I am pretty baffled by how it would stay on with the feeds to both switches disconnected. Would the light itself have its own power supply that does not require it goes through the switch?

Any advice or ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks.

I took a quick look at the 3200 wiring diagram and the anchor, nav, and compass lights are all on the same 10 amp fuse. Have you tried pulling the fuse?

What color wires did you remove at the switch?
