Default 2000 maxum 2800 - running wires for transom lights

Someone here has to have run new wires from the engine bay to the helm. What am I missing? Do I need to drill new holes to be able to fish wires through? Please help!

I had to one my 2400 as penetrations from the engine compartment are seal to prevent CO2 and other vapors from getting into the cabin.

My midberth had removable panels to help fish the wires forward.

I know the mid berth has the cabinets on the head boards and foot boards. Are there removable plates inside? If so I've never noticed. It would be awesome if I could get this close of an access to the engine bay. When you drilled through the engine bay wall, did you seal around the wires? If so, with what?

My midberth does not have any cabinets just some flat removable panels on the starboard side ceiling.

I use 3M 4200 to seal around the wires.

Maybe someone with a 2800 will chime in, shrew
