Hi everyone,

George and Brenda here from the west coast of Florida. We've had our 1999 Maxum 2300SC since the summer of 98 when we bought it new in Virginia when we lived up there. The warmer weather has lured us to the sunshine state where we still enjoy our boat.

Hey All,

Just signed up! Looks like I'll be using the services of this website quite a bit, as I do every other toy I owe. The internet is such a wealth of information and a great idea stirrer. Bought my wife our first boat this year, 2004 Maxum 1800MX. Excellent shape, 130 hours, couldnt pass it up for the price and condition.
Maybe we'll see ya out on the water, did our first dunk yesterday here in Maine. Still quite chilly but we had a few fluke days at 80 so it was as best time as any to get into it.

JB from Kentucky. Just bought a 2004 2200 SR3 this past Friday. Spent the weekend fixing all the "little things" the previous owner let slide. Looking forward to some time on the lake this summer.

Hi,
Just registered tonight so I am a real "NEWBIE". I am Graham and wife Julie from Lincolnshire, England, Just bought 1998 Maxum 2400SCR with 4.3 EFI engine. This is our second boat, upgaded from Invader 210 Cuddy. Not much experience but going to get in some training and river cruising along the River Trent to Nottingham and the River Ouse to York. Mooring is on non-tidal just outside Lincoln

Thanks for the welcome. Name is Greg. We Bought the 2100 SR Back in 05. I have run her hard for the past 7 years with nothing to be done but changing of the fluids plugs and wires. Misfit purrs like a kitten. Did get her some new clothes last year...she runs even better. We raised our teens in it...and now our Grand children. Its really a good built boat. Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin....
Its A member of the family now...will run her till she sinks.....Im hitting the lake with the family this weekend....

I too have just joined the club this weekend, with a year 2000 2400 SCR which I am happy with though a just a bit scared ...first boat. The waters here in jersey channel islands are a bit tricky with HUGE tides and all sorts of nasty rocks.

Found the site really helpful, trying to get a user manual.

Hi everyone! I just purchased a 2000 1800 sr with a 4.3 L Mercruiser. This is my first boat, so I'll be reading the forum all night for info! Most of the time will be spent in the finger lakes in Upstate NY. Thanks!

Hello all! First time boat owners here. Just purchased a 1990 Maxum open bow 20' 7" long with a 5.0 mercruiser and Alpha 1 drive. We are located near the Alton Illinois area so we have easy access to the river but we will mainly be looking for a local lake for most of our boating. Looking forward to finding out as much as we can about our new toy. I raced stockcars for 15 years so I am used to pouring money into a bottomless pit. he he
