New 2007 2600 SE Owner on Kent Island

Howdy, I'm Matt.

Picked up a 2007 2600 SE last season. Only made it out a few times, but looking forward to spending much more time on the water this year. My wife and I just moved to Kent Island MD from California about a year and a half ago (she's originally from MD). We're hoping to cruise on the weekends and explore as much of the bay as possible.

Forgive me in advance for my n00b questions. I sailed 30-40 ft keelboats for a few years on SF Bay through OCSC, but boat ownership and all that comes with it is very new to me. I promise to do my best with the search tool before posting.

I was stationed at Little Creek Amphib Naval Base many years ago. We used to run our boats up the Chez Bay. There used to be a boaters campground at Point Lookout State Park.
