Default My name is Harm... since yesterday the owner of a 2300 SCR

Hi everyone, my name is Harm and I am from the Netherlands. Since yesterday I am the proud owner of a Maxum 2300 SCR, my first real boat.

Could not find much information about my boat so I was very happy that I found this website where I think I will be able to get all my future questions answered. First question would probably be about a manual.

Welcome aboard!

Not sure what year you have however I don't think we have the boat manual which IMO is of little help but under Documents of this site you can find the Mercruiser manuals for your engine and drive.

i'm also a new owner of a 2300scr (built 1993), since end may. i'm from germany and my name is frank. just registered on that forum. i've found some manuals her in that forum under documents and have somehow crossread them which helped getting a flavour and an overview of potential wirings and tubings.
have got also a question regarding the port and starboard oval plexiglas windows. my glasses are cracked and need replacement. is there anybody with an idea where to get some?
regards

hello Washj3rd,
thanks for answering. i have another thread where i got the reply that somebody else is trying with the material of polycarbonat, known as "lexan" or "makrolon". he purchased smoky plates and is cutting it with a jigsaw and trying to bend it coming week for the window on the deck.
i think, reading that, it could be a perfect alternative instead of invest time for a search, if you have the options to work that material.

regards frank
