Maxum 3000SCR owner for now

Just picked up a 1997 3000 with twin 5.7 EFI's alpha's on a tri axle trailer. Beautiful boat fresh water boat all it's life. Has transom issues. Planning fix for winter

When you rebuild the transom do you plan on using wood or Corsa board?

Looks like coosa is the way to go. I'm probably going to have a expert fiberglass shop do it. I'll pull all the mecanicals out the boat for them to keep costs down. Wondering if anyone else has done this boat life saving work to their big Maxum?

5.7's is a nice setup for that boat. The twin 4.3 were a base option. Almost all boats do better with the upgraded engine package.
