Default Hello from Maryland, 2006 2200SR3

Thanks for the add, happy to be here. A few weeks ago I bought a gently used 2006 2200SR3 with about 133 hours on it. Unfortunately Maryland's crazy weather and work have kept me off the water except for a test drive and a quick maiden voyage during a gale warning and small craft advisory. I can't wait to get out there. I've upgraded from a 2000 SeaPro 180CC with a 90hp Johnson on it and what a huge difference between the two! Looking forward to a great summer with the Maxum. -Paul

Awesome, I'm just around the corner from you in northern Anne Arundel. Hart Miller is a favorite spot of ours.

Yes, a hearty Upper Eastern Shore welcome to you from me, as well.

Thanks for the welcome! I have family in Port Deposit, probably not too far from you.

Who do you fellow Marylanders use for Maxum parts now that the are defunct?

So what creek are you on; Stoney, Rock, Bodkin or the Magothy?

Curtis actually, but when we go out if we want to stay local we typically hit Stoney, there is a nice cove to float in there. We have been up to the Magothy many times, but in my old boat that was a hike just as Hart Miller is. We take friends sightseeing in the Inner Harbor and Nick's Fish House is a favorite hang spot. We've hit Tiki Lees too which is in your neck of the woods.

I kept my first boat on Cattail creek at the head of the Magothy. I’ve been south to bloody point and north about 3/4 the way through the C&D and every place in between over the years. Yup Tiki Lees is on Back River, been there. My current home port is on Sue Ceek.

Very cool! If you haven't had the crab pretzel at Tiki Lees you are missing out, its so big it comes in a pizza box. Nick's Fish House at the harbor is a great little spot (they have amazing chipotle lime muscles) and Rams Head is right about the corner from me and has free docking. Hard Yacht is another great little spot.
