Default Hello from Florida

I am looking at purchasing a new to me 1997 2800 SCR with twin 4.3L MPI w/Brovo drives with less than 300 hours.

Outdrives have just been removed, re-sealed, gimbal bearings and bellows installed.

Along with some cosmetic items i.e. 14 speakers, new upholstery, full enclosure and extended swim platform.

Well maintained and dry stored in his yard. No apparent water staining inside. It seems reasonable. I have seen a few for less but would need a lot of work to bring up to where this one is. As long as everything seems well maintained, would the general consensus be that this could be a good buy?

I really like the idea that it is a mid-range entry into the sport cruiser and doesn't to too unmanageable. I will be going to look at it in person at the end of the month. Anything that is particular to the 2800's that I need to pay special detail to? TIA

Welcome aboard!

It’s hard to answer your question but it sounds like a good boat however I would have a survey performed, typically around $25 per foot.
