Seriously thinking about taking them (the covers)...

They are officially protected now.. Aluminum flying everywhere, they were way too tight to go over the subs the way I wanted…. Busted out the die grinder and the bit I used for the aluminum heads on...

I considered that as well.. that battery is a monster.
The subs weigh 70 lbs each = 140 in the front
The battery weighs 151 in the starboard rear….. I also have (and have had) 2 group 29 deep...

Massively revamped boat stereo… :D

Got tired of going to “party cove” and getting outdone. So the girlfriend and I spent the weekend doing a little stereo overhaul :D
