Looks like you guys are right once again...Looked at the service manual for my engine and the RPM is noted as 4400 - 4800 RPM. So I guess just changing to a 4-Blade will give me a better hole-shot,...

2002 Maxum 1900SR, Mercruizer 5.0l V8...took the boat for a run last weekend, and I recorded 52mph @ 4800 RPM WOT. Isn't this RPM too low? I'm thinking about switching to a 4-Blade 17P for better...
