Gmc, I believe one is a counter top model, made to move around. The other is a drop in and designed to mount to hole in counter top.

Used some painters tape...marked the size to...

Used some painters tape...marked the size to expand the hole just about 3/4 inch...and the new cooktop just drops in...easy peassy....I think I will lift it back off and use some double sided foam...

Very easy to remove....maxum decided to hard wire the power supply...the new induction cooktop came with a regular plug...so I went ahead and installed a box and a regular 110v outlet....leaving it...
