I know, I've been watching to too. I've got two solid days of work to do on the boat before it's water ready. I'm hoping the weather will calm down and be nice by Monday.

FedEx dropped off a box of boat stuff at my house yesterday. Nothing exciting like a new distributor, just boring maintenance stuff like oil, oil filter, fuel/water sep, serp belt, etc.

Be careful with that plug gap though. I've never seen an automotive application with a plug gap of .060. Like you mentioned above a wider gap forces the coil to work...

What carb is on it Todd?, Has the carb ever been apart? My guess would be the fuel lines or maybe even a weak fuel pump, before the carb float. Does it have a filter in carb inlet housing?
