You do indeed need to remove the track bolts from below. The cave roof panel in mine was held up by about 8 woodscrews (some hidden in the light fixtures). Just had to unscrew and with panel out...

In the middle of reupholstering the cockpit, have the back cushions and bolster done and looks great! The 4 section fold out is ready to slide out as well, just leaves the solo driver seat....
