Steve from U.S. Composites told me that if you sand a small section of polyester epoxy(which most boats are made of), you will get that sweet solvent smell...

Refinishing gel coat

Working on my '93 2100sr, I have currently just finished cutting out and replacing dry/rotted wood at the rear of my boat. (Engine / gimble) still out... I would like to refinish the gel coat...
