Sorry, my question was directed at the speeds you said for your current boat, not the new one. Just wondering if maybe a water speed dreamometer number has your expectations unrealistically high.

Is that your indicated water speed or GPS? My 3200 with 7.4Ls tops out at 38-40 and cruises at 25-26 mph (3400 rpm)...
