Put the new solenoid in and it still does the same thing. I'm going to pick up the new starter and try that.

If the solenoid is shot the starter would still be able to spin?

Was out running fine all day sunday, stopped to take a phone call, went to restart and all I could here was winding. It seems to be free but not enough to engage. Any ideas or just replace it? I...
