I think I will try the Davis one. Got it yesterday on amazon and it seems like it will do the job. I will have to check the accuracy next time I take the boat out. Thanks jamanati for the response

I see a mechanical unit from Davis that attaches to the steering wheel and works on gravity. About 25 bucks so I may just try that first

rudder angle indicator

Anyone ever install a rudder angle indicator guage on a 3300? How did it install? How does it work? Any recomondations?
