My last boat never had a lock on the door, this one does so I have been using it....like you said it just keeps the honest, honest.

I too well be having a new cabin door made...

I too well be having a new cabin door made eventually, the previous owner told me the boat was broken into and the door was cracked where the lock mounts to it....she had the door repaired by glueing...

I went to a local plastics shop, they had the same acrylic and for both locker doors it was $110, and he is going to cut them, drill the latch holes and finish the edges for another $100....for that...

Yea....I know, I've already been in touch with a local plastics shop, just one more thing on my list of things to do, I'm probably going to do the other side to so that Both doors match, I'm afraid...

Look what I did! Ugggh!!!

Buffing the back of the boat and the Buffer caught the little cable that holds the door from opening to much.
