I double checked last night, my 3000 does not have a load plate at the helm. My understanding is above a certain size they are certified in a different way.

I've got 7 life jackets on my 3000. I have one of those west Marine 4 packs under my forward berth, and 3 plus a throwable under the helm seat. I don't remember seeing a capacity plate on mine though.
