Maxum 2300SC Cabin Hatch - Need to replace hinges

I need to replace one (or both?) of the hinges on the cuddy cabin companionway hatch on my Maxum 2300 SC, but I can't see an easy way to do so... I can't get to the screw heads unless the hatch opens...
