if your talking about the digital depth guage...

if your talking about the digital depth guage that comes with the boat....it's notoriously wrong...what happens when it reads --- is that the moving boat runs over a thermal clime or maybe some...

ok...now that you found it....take the dash apart...

ok...now that you found it....take the dash apart and check all connections to the display...take them apart and clean them...then use teflon grease to keep the connections clean...put them back...

xdcr should be in the engine bay right near the front of the engine...bout midships...or slightly to stbd.....
