probably can..but you need to get it right down...

probably can..but you need to get it right down to the gelcoat and then wetsand and polish...why not go back with bottom paint??

at west marine they sell a bottom paint removal gel that really works well....get the boat up on stands and lay a tarp down....tape the top of the hull to protect the gel coat you don't want...
