actually there is a long, about 5' long shaft that fits into the back of the shaft...then you turn the engine over ..where it should show you if it's out of alignment...if your not sure..tkae it to...

congrats....

however...make sure the engine is aligned or your gonna eat up things like U-joints or coupler....that can get real expensive real quick..
