The SE and SCR designation have nothing to do with the cabin layout. You will need to get into a mid 30 foot boat to get into a separate (enclosed) shower in the head.

XC was used to designate a Sport Boat Model. XC was only used for a few years in the late 90's. For example they had:

1700 XC
1700 XR
1700 SR

I'm not sure what the difference in models was.
