I did ask, he wasnt sure what they were for as he bought it that way. As for the finish they look like a professional job but just do not look finished, maybe there was a grill or vent covering them...

Yes they are in the side(s) the hull (port and starboard) and exactly the same location and size about 1/2" in diameter. Hope the picture helps.

I am looking at buying a 1995 Maxum 2300 SR but I have a question, there is a hole in the hull near the back of the boat on each side and the one is close to the bilge opening, these are precision...
