PRoblem solved, Fuel pump was the culprit. Could move just enough fuel to make it look like it was working but not enough to keep the engnie running.

No that was the first thing I checked. But it would have been fun to get back to the dock and then find out that is was the safety swith off. I don't think I would tell vessel assist about it.

Yesterday my 1997 7.4 quit and will not restart. We had been running at low RPM for 15-20 minutes and once out of the no wake zone took it up to about 2,000 RPM for a few minutes anf then up to...
