I ordered a Brother P-Touch labeler and some white letter on clear label tape. The labels are their "extra strong adhesive" for outdoor use. I will post pictures of how it comes out if interested. ...

I have the same problem. I was thinking of using a white on clear label maker but would love a better idea.
