I belive its just a charger with two outputs to two batterys so it charges them independantly.

Just like having two chargers in one box

I'm doing the same to mine, I'm fitting two batterys where my one was and getting a switch that does 1 or 2 or both

Don't see the need for the dual charger though really when running have it on...
