Yes he has the B III outdrive and had to run 4000rpm to stay on plane. He can now run a much lower rpm at cruise. Saves wear on the engine and fuel.

Why sell the Genny? It will add value when you get ready to sell as well as be a nice feature on the boat when you are away from the dock.
