That's strange. My boat alone weights around 6500# and I'd guess it to be close to 9000# with the trailer and fuel,water and gear.

I tow it with an F250 Diesel.

I have a 2004 2500 SE with the 6.2L MPI and BIII...

I have a 2004 2500 SE with the 6.2L MPI and BIII and it has plenty of power and pretty good fuel economy.
