But you have to admit there is nothing better than Powell this time of year. Cool nights and warm water without the wake boats chewing up the canyon you beached in.

Can't wait to get back on the lake.. First trip is in 2 weeks. Will still be a bit chilly but I love having the lake all to myself.

Yeah this storm is a chiller for sure. Was thinking about a commando run to Vegas but decided to cancel due to the storm. Good call since 93 is closed I would not be able to get there today.

There are flotillas that make the run a lot. It's the best way to do it and be in a group for safety. The first time I made the crossing (blow boat) thats how i did it.

Sept is when the day time temps start to come down but the water is still warm and the crowds are gone.
