That intake will NOT work as it’s a Vortec 8 bolt...

That intake will NOT work as it’s a Vortec 8 bolt and you have a 12 bolt intake being a 1997.

You need a 12 bolt intake and gasket set plus carb gasket. Is yours a 2 bbl or 4 bbl carb?
