A 2000 would have an electric fuel pump. If she can do 50 mph as is I would not spend the money changing to a 4bbl as being a 19 foot boat the water will need to be absolutely flat to be safe running...

If the engine still has the plastic cowl cover on top the carb the engine and drive serial numbers are on it and you can look up the drive to find its gear ratio.
