Water in the cylinders could be from bad exhaust...

Water in the cylinders could be from bad exhaust to a bad engine.

Exhaust could cost $1000 for part

Engine could cost $9000 for a new long block installed.

Pull the spark plugs to see if any...

The lanyard kill switch is on the bottom of the throttle control. To my knowledge they because required before the Maxum line was started.

Is the ground wire from the battery to engine block clean...

Lanyard switch off would still allow the engine...

Lanyard switch off would still allow the engine to crank just not start.

Neutral safety switch would prevent cranking and he would not hear a click.
