Nice, I drove past your way yesterday went over to a friends on the bodkin to replace his raw water pump. Old one was only a year old but fried and not pumping any water.

Ok I did some reading, no sealant but a new o-ring gasket is required. Tack it into the grove with some contact cement.

When you remove the inner transom bracket you may want to pull the outer and replace its seal and rebed the holes where the studs go thru.
